I actually had the helpful use of a neighbor who works on small engines help me with it as of my age I could not get down and crawl around underneath to do all this work he did it pretty easily but it was hard for him. It took him close to 3 hours to take everything apart and put it back together. Taking off the mower deck and pulleys loo sening the adjustment arm and spring for the variable speed. And then putting everything back together it\'s a time process for sure.

Vari pulley bearings failed and assembly locked up

Removed and took apart old assembly that had seized together . Replaced new bearings and new vari- pulley assembly and now it runs like new. The parts fit as they should except for the tension spring but I may have ordered the wrong part for the tension spring
