I just hoisted the front of the mower in the air with a pulley system that is in the rafters of my shed. Dropped the deck to the lowest setting and pulled all the bad parts off and replaced them with new ones. I always look at the problem or take a picture before taking things apart so they go back on the right way.

Rebuilt mower deck

Stripped down deck, replaced all parts, pulleys, spindles, blades, guards, guides, belt, brakes, drilled an retapped belt guard holes. All parts from ereplacementparts worked perfect. Thank you

I had already replaced a spindle that was worn out. As it got worse the brake assembly\'s needed replaced along with the brake arm.
