The mower blade spindle is the same as the old part, with one exception. The holes for the sae bolts were not threaded. Which I did not discover until I put my glasses on to see why the bolts would not thread in. Would have saved me some time and frustration, had I known.

Replaced a broken blade spindle assembly. Removed pulley from new assembly to allow me to slide spindle through hole in blade housing. Then reattached pulley, bolted in assembly unit and installed drive belt back on to pulley. Ran great!

Spindle assy case broke, pulley didn\'t turn shaft

1. Removed blade.
2. Relpaced old spindle assembly with new by removing and installing four mount bolts. New housing bolt holes were self threading and took some effort to run up, but went. Now secure.
3. Made sure belt was on pulley properly and working.
4. Sharpened original blade and reinstalled.
Everything wor ked great with even grass cut.
