1644118Lowered mowing deck to ground removed old link, installed new link leveled deck.

Forgot to order new bushing that fits into deck link connection on the ground side. thus had to fabricate one. OEM was made of hard rubber. I used a cane, walker rubber foot.

When I telephoned Sears/ craftsman they informed me that no parts were available, the contact I spoke to offered no other information. Thus went on line in search of the needed part.
I learned from the contact at \"replacement parts\" that not only were parts available but many of the Husqvarna parts were interchangeable.

1. Lowered the deck.
2. Removed the broken link.
3. Installed the new link.
4. Propped up the deck to start the nut.
5. Tightened the nut until I had the same measurement to the deck bottom.

Removed the deck...replaced the brackets and lubricated deck and then reinstalled the deck.

Had to completely remove mower deck to reinstall left link arm if you only had to replace right link arm you could do it from side but very tight on arm. Works great now thank you.

Remove the nut and lift pivot bearing from the broken lift link.
Remove the broken lift link from the suspension arm.
Unbolt the gas tank and move it to on top of the engine.

On the right side, this is attached to the height adjustment lever.
Insert the new lift link and clip it in place.
Feed the lift link through the suspension arm and put on the lift pivot bearing and nut.
Tighten the nut until the deck is level.
