This is a genuine Husqvarna and Poulan part for use with Lawn Tractors. The blade idler pulley applies tension to the blade belt, allowing the belt to turn. The most common reason for replacing the small idler pulley is when it breaks, causing the blades to not cut. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the blade idler pulley is a 9/16 inch socket.

1. Jacked front of mower up and supported with jack stands, with park brake on.
2. Removed pivot bolt and bushing from front axle, while supporting front axle with a jack, then lowering axle down after pivot bolt removed.
3. Removed spacer/bushing from axle and installed new spacer/bushing.
4. Reassembled mower in revers e order of disassembly.
