First of all I took off parts I didn\'t need to which accounts for the time required to do job. Couldn\'t find any info on a Poulan rider so I got some idea from watching other products with similar problem. Easy job once started . Remove 4bolts on back side of trans., remove 2 bolts .one on each side of frame, take off linkage held on by nut on 1 side ,take other linkage off ,just a cotter pin off on other side. Almost forgot put on parking brake and remove belt from pulley. Tranny will fall downI had to left mower and push it forward to clear. Make sure when you put it back the linkage is on the inside offrame on the left side
