1. Found a video on YouTube on how to remove front cover of the tractor
2. Watched another video of someone replacing the throttle cable. Wasn\'t my exact model but really close.
3. After watching the videos, it only took me about 5 minutes to replace the cable. It was really simple.
4. Counting the time it took me to w atch the videos, the whole thing took a little less than 30 minutes.

Part is designed to fail. When it initially broke free of the handle. I hooked the cable up in it\'s alternat location. It held up a year.. Bought a new one.

Took apart steering wheel, dash cover/housing, removed old cable from dash, put all back together except new cable. New cable installed through dash opening via snap-in design.
