KEEPING COOL AGAIN
The transmission cooling fan arrived quicker than the hardware needed to install. E-Replacement is always good about getting the parts you need. I looked at Cub Cadet first as my mower is a CC but they did not have the fan in stock. Only issue was the retaining clip and wave washer also needed was not available. My order could not be shipped until all parts where available at the same time to save in shipping, I fully understand. While waiting I was able to track down another supplier for the clip and wave washer. E-Replacement was very helpful over the phone to change my order and remove the hardware. The fan was quickly shipped and arrived. Very easy to install.

1. Lift seat in Cub Cadet mower to access the battery compartment. Remove the battery hold down bracket.
2. Disconnect battery, remove and set aside.
3. Push battery holding brackets to the side to access fan.
4. My fan was already off, hence the research I was replacing. Place the wave washer in the spline shaft on top

5. Place new fan on the spline shaft.
6. Using retaining clip pliers, open new clip enough to fit over spline shaft and place on top of fan and around the shaft. Ensure it is securely placed around the groove on the shaft.
7. Place battery brackets back to receive battery.
8. Place battery back in and connect the negative and then the positive cables. Reinstall the battery hold down bracket and put seat back down.
9. Good job, your fan is now installed.
