This is a genuine OEM part. The cotter pin (7/16, bow tie lock) is used in many lawn tractors. The metal pin is designed to fasten the left hand rear lift link assembly and the left lever lift handle in the mower lift. The cotter pin is sold individually. For the repair, a socket wrench set and pliers are needed.
