This is an original part from the Ariens manufacturer. The cotter pin (1/8 x 1 plated) is made of durable metal, and is compatible with many snowblower machines. This component is often used to secure the chute crank. The cotter pin is sold individually. Please be sure to refer to specific manual and diagrams for repair instructions. A screwdriver may be helpful in making the replacement.
