It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part that is utilized on walk-behind lawn mowers. The control cable stops the blade when the control handle is released on walk-behind mowers if the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. This cable consists of a metal rubber insulated wire with z-type bent ends and it is sold individually.
