This is an authentic Craftsman replacement part. This cable is commonly used in lawn mowers. It connects the hand control to the transmission for braking. You should let the engine cool and disconnect the spark plug wires before attempting to replace this part. It is also advisable to wear work gloves. The cable is made of metal, with a plastic coating. You may need a screwdriver to replace this part. This part is sold individually.
