This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement control cable which is specially designed for use with walk-behind lawn mowers. The cable that stops the blade when the control handle is released, it provides an identical replacement for a missing or damaged cord that was originally installed on the new unit. If the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed, please note this high-quality metal cable is sold individually.
