Would not start because of lack of tension due to missing wing nut. Next the metal blade control cracked during moving. I removed the blade control which slides out. Next with pliers squeezed the control cable end to remove it from the mounting area. Has a plastic piece that expands to lock into place. I would not of been able to reuse it
... Read more so make sure you have one on hand before removing. The new one slipped into place and locked in the fitting. Same for the top where mounted to the metal frame. Everything was an exact fit as new.
Remove the old from the handle position. Replace it easily within minutes. This company is the only company whereas I can purchase supplies for a three-year old troy-bilt mower.
