SIMPLE ONE BOLT EACH WHEEL . SPENT MORE TIME CLEANING GRASS FROM WHEEL HOUSING THAN THE REPAIR TOOK.

Removed the wheel covers with screwdriver and then removed the old wheels with wrench.
replaced wheels with new ones with wrench and snapped on the wheel covers. Done!

Lawn Mower wheel. Blade replacement.

1) I hoisted mower upon a workbench so as to minimize back stress during the process.
2) Both procedures required the proper size wrenches.
3) During the blade replacement, I cleaned the undercarriage of dried-on grass clippings. This was the most difficult chore, and required a lot of scraping/prying with a metal trowel.
4) I also found that this was a convenient time to change the oil.
5) Both the new wheel and the new blade easily fitted back onto the mower.

Removed old wheels with wrench, had to remove one of the wheel inserts from the axle shaft with an adjustable wrench. Cleaned the axels and lubricated with grease. Installed wheels and replaced nuts and hubcaps.

Called my grandson - he and his dad came over with a power drill and about 10 min. later grandson who is 11 yrs old, - removed old wheels and put 2 brand new wheels and lawnmower was ready to go again.
