I replaced the front axle and the height adjuster. Replaced the wing nut and the discharge chute. I propped the mower up and removed the wheels. Then, removed the axle and the height adjuster. Then, replaced all parts.

Would not start because of lack of tension due to missing wing nut. Next the metal blade control cracked during moving. I removed the blade control which slides out. Next with pliers squeezed the control cable end to remove it from the mounting area. Has a plastic piece that expands to lock into place. I would not of been able to reuse it ... Read more

Removed the broken lower handle from the upper upper handle, then replaced the new handle. Replaced worn red wing nut at the bottom of the lower handle.

bought another 1/4 square nut and bolt. inserted square nut into slot. line up with the hole in the handle and screw the bolt in snugly. do not over tighten. check periodically

1. I inserted the nut into the slot under the handlebar.
2. Inserted the wing nut through the hole on the handlebar and tightened until secure.

Make sure you use lock washers on handle wing nuts. Discharge chute cheaper than new bagging unit.
