I removed the old cable from handle and from transmission. Then installed the new one. It took about 5 min.

Broken ground control speed cable

Removed old cable, snapped in lever end off new cable and slipped on other end of cable to ground speed controller secured with cotter key! Unbelievably easy, works great!
