This is a genuine replacement part manufactured for use with Toro walk-behind lawnmowers. The metal pinion gear is secured to the transmission axle and drives the front wheels. The pinion gear wears against the plastic gear teeth that line the inside of the wheel hub turning the wheel. The pinion gear is sold individually.
