Traction cable broke

Replace worn out starter rope and pull handle,

2 Pulled rope all the way out and held fully extended
3 Cut knot on old rope and discarded it then threaded new rope with handle installed, tied knot and let the rope slow retract in
4 Place new stop in to position and crimped on to rope.
5 Take plastic cover of drive belt( 1 screw on mi ... Read more ne) remove bolt that hold cable then remove and replaced traction cable, adjusted to proper position to engage drive belt. after complete put cover back over drive belt
Very simple repair, just need to pay attention to how you disassemble to make sure everything aligns with out interference.
Handle knobs just remove old one and spin new ones on.
