This carriage screw is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part. It is specially designed for use with Toro snowblowers. This screw is generally used to secure the scraper blade. The square area under the head is designed to fit into a square hole in the workpiece. It is this square hole that restrains the screw and keeps it from turning when the nut is tightened. Please note, this screw is made out of metal and it is sold individually.

1. Removed side panel cover over drive train
2. Removed and replaced Drive belt.
3. Removed Scraper Blade bracket
4. Removed old Scraper Blade
5. Straightened bottom panel on which scraper blade mounts (badly bent)
6. Installed new Scraper Blade
7. Removed and replaced Rubber Impeller Blades (This is th e worst part. There is no access to side nuts without removing the impeller shaft, drive pulley, bearings,belt, etc. Use small needle-nose vise-grips to hold the nuts in place, AND hold the rubber blade to the impeller shaft frame while driving the Torx bolts with a power nut driver, and a Flex-extension on the driver).
8. Replaced Side panel.

Rubber rotor blades were shot and so was front scraper so I replaced them both.

Had to order screws for scraper on a Toro Snowbower
