Not what I needed
I had to replace a shaft in one of the 3 mower deck spindles. I also needed the bold that hold the blade to the end of the spindle. I was somewhat misled by the DIY video on spindle replacement which listed this part number. I should have looked closer to see it is nothing like the 7/16" x about 1 1/2" hardened bolt. A exploded diagram with part numbers would have been very useful. The MTD site has a very good one for my Troybilt Big Red Horse mower. The spindle shaft you shipped was perfect.

Grinding noise in left wheel, loss of self propel function

Parts Used:
92-5790, 32144-4, 105-3040, 105-6839, 104-8671
Removed back wheels, gears and axel.
Removed mower blade and belt.
Rebuilt transmission and repackaged with grease.
Reassembled and found an extra spacer. Eventually found it went in between the main engine shaft and the blade\'s shaft-bracket. If you leave this off then the engine won\'t turn due to clamping friction of the bracket against the engine\'s bottom.
After reassembling with all new parts and testing, the left wheel gears still sounded bad (grinding). Read different website forums from 2010-now where some people fixed this design/tolerance issue by adding spacers between the left wheel mount and the mower body. I added those and the grinding went away.
