To remove the old cable I had to remove the rear housing, two screws. The removal of the old cable was enough to show how to install the new one. A hook and a snap into place inside and a hook and clamping into place on the handle end was all there was to it. The whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. The new part was exactly the part I neede
