Arm-Spring that held the wheel in place broke

Remove wheel, remove everything from the axle on the outside of the mower deck. Remove broken arm-spring from the part holding it (one bolt) Install new arm-spring, reinstall everything on the axle in the order it came off. Reinstall wheel. Started mower, it works great! Installed new air filter, new spark plug, new mower blade. Changed o il and ran mower out of gas, put away until Spring.

removed old, replaced with new. Rear lever replacement is much more involved than front due to rear drive . Using a parts diagram to guide the re assembly makes the job much easier .

Right rear arm spring was broken

Removed the right rear wheel and then removed the parts on the axle. Then when I removed the bolt that holds the arm spring on, it snapped off in the part. So I had to drill it out, which stripped the threads. So I bought a 6mm bolt that was just long enough to fit a locknut on without interfering with the wheel or wheel height adjustment . Otherwise it would have been a very easy job.
