If you remove the front pulley first it relieves the tension on the belt. The back pulley is mounted to a sliding tensioner and the whole piece has to be removed to remove the pulley. Make sure you time the blades correctly when putting everything back together, they go perpendicular to each other ( one horizontal and one vertical. Good l
... Read moreuck! It seems to be a common problem with these mowers.
Basically removed pulley system cover , removed old pulley and replaced with new one. Once I figured out visually how the mechanism engaged it was easy to fix.
1- removed cover over the front of the mower.
2- got proper fitting socket and removed tension bracket that the tension pully is mounted too.
3- removed tension adjustment.
4- removed tension pully.
5- replaced tension pully.
6- then did steps 1thru 3 I revers.
