This is an authentic OEM part from Toro and Lawn Boy for use with Lawn Tractors. The flat idler pulley applies tension to the blade belt, allowing the belt to turn. The most common reason for replacing the flat idler pulley is when it breaks, causing the blades to not cut. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the flat idler pulley is a 9/16 inch socket.
