Hi Rita, Thank you for your question. If the lawn tractor will not shut off then problem is with the ignition switch. The switch is failing to ground due to a poor connection. If the connections are fine, the switch will need to be replaced. The part number listed under your model number for the ignition switch is 137-4100.
