The screw attaches the steel blade to the blade hub. It is a genuine OEM sourced part which is specifically designed for use with lawn mowers made by Murray, Briggs & Stratton, Snapper, and Simplicity. This part is available as an individual replacement part and is made of metal. It will require replacing if it strips or breaks and when replacing this part a wrench will be needed.
