A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:

Tools:
Pliers, Socket set, Wrench set
Removed blade, disassembled drive system, removed belts, replaced and put back together.
The poly v-belt was coated with Alcohol so it would slide between handle frame and pulley. A small crow bar was used to stretch the engine dive belt so the pulley could be put back in place. All other procedures were routine.

The replacement part had the correct part number but did not fit my Snapper mower. It was missing a hole that I had to drill for the pin that goes through the handle.

Removed lock nut from Clutch handle pin, disconnected forward control cable, removed old parts, installed new parts and re-connected control cable. Had to get new locking nut from hardware store because e-replacementparts doesn\'t sell that item. We don\'t have a vehicle to transport our mowers and yard equipment to repair shop so every t ime we send equipment for service there is a pickup/delivery fee of $125, substantial mark-up on parts, often weeks delays if they have to order parts or are busy and then labor charges. I figure I saved about $200+ making the repair.
