This dual choke/throttle lever is an original part from Snapper. Designed for use with many lawn tractors, this component is fitted between the control panel and engine carburetor. The dual choke/throttle lever allows the operator to control the fuel in the tractor engine. This item is sold individually. A socket set, nutdriver and an adjustable wrench are needed for making the repair.

Lawn mower throttle plastic wore out allowing throttle cable to disengage

1 Removed brace to assembly holding throttle/choke control
2 Removed 3 screws to remove plate holding controls
3 Note which cable goes to throttle which goes to choke
4 Note routing of very stiff cables (I missed this step)
5 Remove existing cable/lever assembly
6 Reroute new cables
7 Attach cables, ins ert assembly into mount plate, replace bracket removed in step 1.
8 Check operation - I had to slightly adjust choke cable mounting.
