Lawn mower driven disk broke

When you order a new driven disk kit, be sure to also order a set of the self-tapping screws. I ordered a new driven disk and thought I could use the original screws but they would not cut into the screw holes in the new disk and the first one broke off inside the hole. Then I messed up the hole trying to drill the stud out and had to ord er another driven dick along with five self-tapping screws. That worked fine.

Mower stopped propelling itself

Parts Used:

A pair of needle-nose pliers to remove springs, one 7/16 wrench and the assembly comes off. A nut-driver removes the 5 screws holding the hub assembly together and is easily separated. The rubber ring slips off and back onto the new assembly and the rest is the reverse of removal. Easy-peasy.
