This part is an OEM from Snapper. The driven disc is composed of a metal and rubber composite, and is compatible with many lawn mower machines. This item is necessary for creating variable speeds for lawn mower engines. The driven disc is secured onto the hex shaft that moves the wheel in the self-propelled drive system. A wrench is needed in the part removal and replacement. This part is sold individually.
Snap ring pliers make this job a easy
1. Use screwdriver to pop off the clip on the left side holding on the shaft for the gear selector.
2. Remove retaining ring with snap ring pliers and tension spring with regular pliers.
3. Slide the rubber wheels\' hex shaped axle out from left to right.

6. Put snap ring back
7. Put gear shaft and clip back.

The clutch cable broke and at the time I wasn\'t sure what parts I needed the picture of the mower wasn\'t all that great. The drive wheel was wearing after a lot of use so I replaced that everything was as easy .
I have a snapper lawn vac mower self propelled an the drive disk broke.The manual that came with it showed a diagram of the parts I needed. Went on your wed site, found the listing of the part I needed an placed the order.Part was delivered with in a week.Was the exact part I needed. Repair took about 30 minutes an I was mowing the grass.

Removed tension spring and cotter pin and linkage arm
Slid assembly off of machine
Removed external snap ring and drive disc
Drove bearing from the bracket it was swaged in place from snapper
Installed new bearing and retained it with four 10/32 screws, nuts, flat washers and lock washers. Not included

2. Checked bushing (ok)
3. Placed new rubber disc on the rod.
