Removed the old cable, starting at the top end of the cable by the mower handle. I paid attention to how it was situated on the mower. Then put the new one on in reverse order. *note: The bottom attachment was a little hard to figure out, so I looked for a video on U Tube and that made it much easier.
I\'ve never done this typ e of a repair, but it was not very difficult and saved taking the mower to the repair shop. I am a 63 yr old female.

Remove spark plug wire, remove old cable and install new one. Plug spark plug wire back on and your done.
