It is an authentic OEM sourced item which is specially produced for use with lawn mowers made by Murray, Briggs & Stratton, and Snapper. The mulching plug helps to change the mower to mulching mode when it is installed. During the installation process, a screwdriver might be needed to replace this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced. This is made of plastic and is available as an individual replacement part.
