1) Use a small to medium flat blade screwdriver to remove wheel cover caps.
2) Use adjustable wrench to remove wheel retainer bolt.
3) Use hammer and flat punch to tap wheel bearings outward from wheel hub. By inserting punch through the center of one bearing to make contact with the inner portion of bearing on the opposite
... Read more side of wheel. Then tap the bearing outward , Turn the wheel to opposite side and tap that bearing out.
4) To install bearings use a socket that fits on the shoulder of the new bearing and tap them into the cavity that the old bearings came out of until shoulder of the new bearings just contacts the hub.
CAUTION ! Do not hammer the bearings inner race to install or you will damage the bearings.
NOTE ! If you like some preventative maintenance put some all purpose grease between the bearing of each wheel before mounting back on mower. And oil periodically through the season.
