It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement control cable which is made for use with walk-behind lawn mowers. The control cable stops the blade when the control handle is released on walk-behind mowers, if the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. Please note this high-quality durable metal, rubber insulated cable is sold individually.

Parts Used:
946-1141
Removed the old cable that was broke and rusted.
Disassembled control drive that housed the cable.
Cleaned up housing and drive unit.
Mounted new control cable and re-routed the cable so it had less bends.
Tightened everything up and mounted control drive housing unit.
Tested cable and started up lawnmower. < br />Cable worked perfect. Better than new.
