Remove the mower blade, then unbolted the cracked adapter, and was able to pull it off by hand. Clean the shaft, then lined up the internal key with the key way on the engine shaft. Installed the bolts and the mower blade. Time to mow.
Remove the spark plug wire. Then remove the worn blade bolt, blade support and blade. The cracked adapter came right off of the spindle. I wiped the spindle clean. Then line up the key in the adapter with the slot in the engine shaft. Then put on the blade, the support and the new blade bolt on. Then plug the spark plug wire back in.
I removed the blade bolt then the blade support, then the blade. I sprayed some WD-40 on the shaft and let it soak for a while. I was then able to pull the adapter off with my hands. I cleaned the shaft, then lined up the key in the adapter with the slot on the shaft and tapped it on. I installed the new blade and put the blade support on

Luckily you had good pictures with your parts since I didn\'t know what the part was called. Easy to repair. Just slid blade adaptor on spindle, attached blade and bolted with socket wrench.
Remove blade bolt, blade support and blade. Remove the broken blade adapter. Clean the engine shaft. Install the new adapter, lining the key in the adapter to the key way in the engine shaft and install it. Place the blade on the spindle, then the blade support, then tighten the blade bolt
Take out blade screw and related parts replace with the new ones changed all parts that hold the blade in place didn\'t replace blade because I had just sharpened it.
I used a battery powered impact wrench and 5/8 socket. Removed the old adapter and lined up the key to the engine shaft and tapped it on. I put anti-seize onto the bolt and torqued to 50 foot pounds with a new blade.
