Belt to self propelled mechanism broke.

Removed the spark plug wire. Removed the mower blade. (This was the hard part as I had extreme difficulty breaking the bolt loose.) Once that was completed I decided to sharpen the blade as it was off the mower and need sharpening badly.
Replaced belt and parts in 10 minutes, replaced the blade and top self propel cover and I was th rough. Spent as more time removing and sharpening the mower blade than all the time spent on the rest.

Self propel belt was stretched out so far it jumped off time after time

Removed the old belt and installed the new one. Made the adjustments at the handle to secure the proper tension and no problems at all. Works great.

Front wheel drive cable broke, good time to replace the drive belt

A few screws underside of the front wheel drive lever assembly to open it up, install new cable at both ends..done with that..cable fit exactly..put on new drive belt, adjust cable. done with that. Since mower was on side to install belt good time to drain/change oil, new spark plug too., had a fresh sharpened blade ready to put on. Some fresh no ethanol gas and ready to go. Thanks for parts that fit.

Removed right wheel no problem. Left wheel gear screw rusted and would not come out of drive shaft with torx bits. Drilled out old screw and re-taped drive shaft. Replaced drive gear and installed new torx screw. From there on no problem. Replaced spark plug, drive belt and changed oil.
