One nut holds both the mulching fan and blade to the lower crankshaft. Remove the nut and install both new parts.

Back wheels were worn out. 23 years old. New mulch and regular bkade. New air filter. All from normal wear and tear.

Removed bolt on wheel and replaced with new wheel. Replaced filter. Replaced mulch and regular blade with ratchet and socket. Used 2 x 4 to lock blade while it was loosened.

Not only did I replace the blade and fan mulching for my Lawn Boy, I also ordered and replaced the motor on my ceiling fan unit without buying the complete unit.
