Exact part I needed.
Besides being the chute assembly, the original part also has molded plastic tabs for incremental height adjustment. The tabs have a metal stud it hold it in place. I believe it was a weak design and it did fail. But rather than buy a new mower I desired to repair and see if it lasted any better than the original. Evidently I was correct because the new part has a different design using steel indexing tabs. I expect it to last. My only complaint would be that it would have been nice to have had that information when I ordered. It would have saved me from buying 6 of the metal studs that are no longer required.
