This is an authentic OEM part from Husqvarna for use with Lawn Mowers. The zone control cable stops the engine when you let go of the handle. The most common reason for replacing the control cable is if it is broken, causing the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the control cable is pliers.

Removed starter rope cover and loosened two bolts holding engine brake in place and removed it from the engine. I pulled the old cable out of the guides and put the new one in place. The only trick is you have to hold down on the actuator handle to install the brake and that makes it easier to start the bolts. Put it all back together and
