This is a genuine part that is supplied from the original equipment manufacturer. The drive control mount is to be used in riding lawn mowers made by Husqvarna and Poulan. It connects the drive pivot section to the upper block and the lever. This part is to replace a damaged or a missing component originally installed on a new unit. It may require several bolts to secure in place using correct wrenches. This durable metal mount is sold as a single item. Note, the hardware to secure this item is sold separately. Replacing the unknown
When I broke my mower, and I did break it, the parts were not located anywhere that I could find locally. I checked a couple of replacement part organizations on line. This site made it very clear that I was getting the corrects parts. When making a repair for the first time, make sure to keep ALL your parts that you remove. Luckily I did because the attaching bolts I removed were necessary to reattach the parts that I broke. It never crossed my mind to order the attachment bolts also. The repair was very close quartered and time consumptive but I did save hundreds of dollars and a cumbersome transport of my zero turn mower to the repair shop.

Removed the left plastic hub over wheel in order to get to damper piston.
Removed damper piston.
Disconnected control arm from bottom of drive pivot section.
Removed the adjusting knob for the drive control unit.
Removed 3 bolts holding the drive control mount.
Removed the the control mount and replaced with new parts.
Reassembled in reverse order.

Could not steer or engage forward motion

I replaced both brackets that connect to the handles and the streering mechanism. Then all I had to do was install the grease cap with a rubber mallet.

Ezt stick broke off of mower (from force of operator)

1. Disconnected and removed mowing deck
2. Lifted front of mower up and placed block under foot deck to hold up.
3. Removed hydraulic dampener
4. Removed brake/drive rod connection
5. Began to unbolt 3 of the 4 bolts (1 was missing from manufacturer) that hold the Ezt mounts in place.
6. Pulled mounts off of mower and replaced with new parts. then reassembled back together

1. Removed the old bracket from the handle and the drive/steering mechanism.
2. Installed the new replacement bracket.
3. Checked to see if all worked and it test drove.

First of all, my repair was for my Troy Bilt trimmer.
Removed lower shaft section and angle drive by loosening the clamp in center of shaft. Replaced the lower shaft first. Then I installed the angle drive, set in position and tightened the set screw. I then tightened the 2 screws on the angle drive over the shaft to complete the pr ocess.

However, the angle gear is now loose again after 2 weeks of use. It won\'t stay tight on the shaft and the hole for the set screw is now elongated. Not sure what the next step will be.

Two bolts to remove the broken turning arm extension. Bolting the new part in place resulting in a very easy and fast fix with the correct part. Your parts chart are easy to read and I could tell it was the right one in the picture. .
