Take apart the drive control box. Make note how the drive cable is installed. Remove the old lever, and install the new one and replace the drive cable. Then assemble the drive control box.

Lawn mower throttle lever

1. Remove 5 screws from the throttle \"box\" where the lever is attached.
2 Remove the bottom metal plate..
3 Open (separate) the top and bottom plastic throttle plates.
4 Remover the broken lever.
5. Install the new lever.
6. Replace the top and bottom plastic throttle plates.
7 Replace the bottom metal plate.
8 Replace the 5 screws.
