1). Tip up hood to expose engine
2). Locate voltage regulator/rectifier
3). Remove two screws mounting the regulator/rectifier, and pull off the wiring connector.
4). Replace and reassemble in reverse order.
I unplugged the regulator checked the voltage had AC voltage but it was not charging the battery after I replaced it I was getting almsot two more volts DC while the mower was running verses just the battery so itGÇÖs properly charging the battery now
