3. Plastic cable guides are fastened to the mower handle by means of automotive body clips. Plastic push rivets that push into holes in the steel mower handle. In cars, these types of fasteners are used for door panels and other internal car panels. When these were removed they broke because they were brittle from exposure to the sun. I went to the nearest auto parts store and bought replacement fasters to complete the repair.
