This is an Authentic OEM part for use with Poulan, WeedEater, and Husqvarna Lawn Mowers. The starter rope guide kit attaches the engine starter rope to the lawn mower handle for easy access when starting the engine. This part includes the T-knob and the rope guide the starter rope is not included. There are no tools needed to replace this part.

I didn\'t get a deflector when this mower was given to me, the rope guide was missing also

Wasn\'t much to to doing it, just pick up on the piece that closes the discharge port and hook the deflector in place around the discharge port hinge, then ease downward the cover on top to hold the chute in place.
