Once the c-ring was removed, the locking arm slid out and the eye bolt was easy to replace. The locking mechanism, arm and built in key way all had to be lined up perfectly which took a little finagling but wasn\'t too bad. ... Read more8 inch socket also was necessary to tighten down the locking mechanism and the locking mechanism had to be seated correctly in the head stock with a wooden mallet.
