The leadscrew was stripped inside the Tailstock Spindle

Removed spindle with leadscrew still attached inside. Place leadscrew and Live Center Shaft inside spindle. Works great

used hex wrench taking off knob, unscrewed the two apart, screwed the new Tailstock Spindle into place and put handle back, lickly split and done

I disassembled the tailstock and noticed the galled threads. Ordered the repair parts and when they came in I cleaned out the tailstock and I stalled the new parts...

Tailstock spindle and leadscrew were worn out

1. Removed set screw from the crank wheel.
2 Pushed the spindle assembly out of the tailstock.
3. Inserted new spindle.
4. Replaced wheel and set the ser screw.
