This brass pin measures 5 mm by 35 mm and fits select 13-inch by 40-inch metal lathes. It works as a shear or alignment pin in the lead screw and feed rod system. The pin may break under too much force to help protect more costly machine parts. Use the complete lathe model and serial number to guarantee the proper fit. Unplug the lathe before repair. Remove every piece of the old pin, line up the holes, and gently install the new pin.
