-removed chuck (loosen set screws - Nova G3)
-loosen set screw on round hand wheel. Remove wheel
-remove wavy washer from spindle on handle side
-remove belt from pulleys, (still around spindle but loose)
-loosen set screw on pulley mechanism
-use hammer & wood block to tap spindle out. Look for loose metal k

-insert new spindle in reverse
-before tapping through pulleys, insert key into keyway and align with pulley
-finish tapping through
-i had some problems with the bearing wheel popping out. I used hammer and block going around little by little to get it back into the circular hole.
-push spindle all the way in. Align pulleys so that lock pin works, and tighten set screw.
-after outer bear ring is snug back in body, replace wavy washer, then hand wheel
-tighten set screw in handwheel
Removed the two set screws on the hand wheel. Set the indexing pin. Removed the wave spring and loosened the spindle pulley set screw. Removed the old spindle, replaced with new part. Replaced the shaft key! Reversed the above order to complete the repair.
