This durable OEM supplied hardware is made for use with DeWALT jig saws. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty spring that was installed on a new unit. The purpose of this part is to apply tension on the actuator. Refer to the diagrams of your specific model for the exact location and installation of this hardware.
